Nowhere in our project plans for March 2023 did we schedule a day to scrape snow and ice off our polytunnels. Perhaps it's a natural metaphor to help us understand the unforeseen things that can affect our normal lives. Wasn't it John Lennon who said, 'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans'?
We're busy keeping our worm friends warm in their wormery and prepping the big wormery for new arrivals. We're also securing our seed potatoes to sow. We'll have a bumper crop for the food banks.
We've made some excellent contacts at this year's Social Business Wales conference in Swansea. We'd especially like to thank our friends at Cwmpas for making this happen for us. It's so important to connect and network with others. Sometimes when we're elbow deep in weeds and worms we forget about the world around us. It's good to come up for air and to get inspired by other amazing projects.
